New HHRS on the lots(2006's)

Went looking for another HHR. Was thinking of becoming a 2 HHR family. The wife really likes mine. She has an Impala, but needs a newer car, soo we went looking. The dealer I bought mine from has about 6-7 left, none of the SE's yet. I went to a couple other dealers, one had the SE but sold it before I could get there when they were open. Saw it running around in my town that day, and that is 35 miles away. they only had three others, and then 2 the last I looked. So went to 2 other dealers south of me, they had 3-4 each themselves, and no SE's(Got em coming). But the reason I started this, The one dealer had a $3,000.00 mark up on the sticker, something about local marketing charge.....Ha Ha Ha....told the salesman not gonna come back there if that is how they mark their vehicles. Only one of them had a set of 20" wheels, no other mods. The other 2 were LT's.
The other dealer only had 4, they had 2 white ones, 1 orange, and 1 dark silver. Now I thought the 2LT option with the chrome option would automatically give you the Polished 17" wheels. The 2LT Dark Silver one had the 17" wheels but were painted. (Looked it up, it is an option to have painted wheels over the standard/optional wheels. Was thinking the options for the 2LT were the polished wheels. Anyway, fun to look after knowing something about these things. That 2LT was sticker priced for right at $19,960. They were expecting SE's anyday.
We haven't decided to buy another one yet, but you never know.

Don't hold your breath for the SE. The only way they'll get them is from another dealer. Only about 2300 were made!

Yea, am referring to the Spring Edition(SE).Those red ones are sharp looking, we were a Red car family. I'd like to have one, figure they won't be made next year, will be a limited, one of a kind. Right now the wife is backing out. Oh well, still fun to go looking see what's out there. That was most of the fun when looking for mine.
