New hood scoop

Installed a hood scoop on the ole SS, couple weeks ago.
It's a modded side scoop for a Ford Mustang, made by Maier Racing here in Hayward.
I cut it back about 6 inches in front, to shorten it a little, as it looked a little long. Had to drill [gasp] 6 holes in hood to mount it. It sure is'nt gonna blow off, now.
Really can't see any benefit in cutting a hole in the hood[except to maybe exit more hot air down back on the motor], so did'nt make it functional. No way would it benefit the intake, being stock air box type. So far just for looks.
Next mod is to lower it[pedders], then wheels, front splitter and racing stripe[painted to match wheels]. Saving $ for future mods. "Moon"

Moon, I see you put crossed flags over the SS on the sides this is something I've been wanting to do, did you drill holes or tape them? What year fuelie are they from? Thanks DJB.

Not sure about the year of the crossed flags. Picked them up at one of the car shows in 96. I had them on my 96 Impala SS, but now that I'm selling the Impala, I put them on the HHR-SS.
I ground off the tits on the back and used double sided tape[the good stuff ]to stick them on. Just adds a little Hi Per. to the look. "Moon"
