New look?

im thinking about going with a new look for the summer.

im thinking about powdercoating my rims black and keeping the polished lip, smoking the taillights, painting the innards of the headlights black and covering the silver bowties with black.

for those that havent seen my HHR.

I think all the changes would look good except for the wheels. I think you should keep them silver.

I too think you should keep the rims silver. Suspect you could easily sell them on this site as is (I love them) - and with the money buy yourself a nice set of factory ready black/chrome.

With your car being silver i think all you have done looks good. the black tails and headlights seem out of place to me on a silver car but that's jus my opinion.

i think the black headlights and tails would look great. The one guy on here that has a silver panel did the black headlights, amazing.

Leave the rims alone though. Or at least sell them off and get some of the actual black propulsions. They are black with the polished lip already, if you were going to say all black, no lip, then i would say go for it, but if they already have a setup like that. Although propulsions seem harder to find now. I want the black 17's or 18's and they are almost non existent now.

None the less your rims look amazing on your hrr right now, so i still say leave them alone. But the other black accents would look great. Black bowties was the best thing I did on my hhr. Everyone notices them, the dealer even asked about it. Now that it is warmer out, i need to re vinyl my back one.

IMO, I'd keep it as is. But it's your car, not mine! Do whatever you want to it!!!

I agree! If it was black or white I'd say go for it!

Jared, I love the look of your car now but think the changes could look just as good. Just depends on what you want
