New lower billet
New lower billet
After hearing all the horror stories of stuff smacking the condenser and radiator, I decided to get a lower grille. Since I really like the stock one, I tried to find one that was linear in style. Here is a shot of the grille. It took longer to find a screwdriver than to install it, really easy.

Do you have a link for where you purchased it?!?
Also, did you have to drill any holes to install it?
Hey thanks guys n gals.
Its brushed. It was unbelievably easy to install. There are two pre-bent bars and c-clips w/ machine screws. You place the grill and fish the screws thru the 2 holes. Place the clips on the bars and start the screws. Position the bars so that they are vertically placed on the lip of the bumper cover and snug the screws down. NO holes drilled in my baby.
As mentioned, I wanted to keep the linear look of the stock and compliment that with the billet.
Ok I ordered it thru Ilovemymotor.com an ebay vendor. There was a screw up and I didnt get when promised. They are horrible about returning emails and calls. However, they were moving locations so, I dunno whatever. It was $50

I got both, upper from www.truckshop.com for $179.95, and I got the lower from www.hhrboutique.com for $97.70. No drilling, everything is pre-fabbed and takes maybe a 1/2 hour for the top and 5-10 minutes for the bottom.
