New Wheels
New Wheels
I am finally getting ready to get some wheels. It broke my heart to have to shell out $400 for the optional factory mags when I knew they would soon be replaced (less than 3500 miles). Anybody want a set in perfect condition???
I remember reading about the offset and width, but could not find the posts. So, please refresh my memory. I have the factory 17 polished wheels. Plan on lowering the car in the future. Want to keep the factory tire, but would like to get a wheel wide enough for future expansion. So what offset and width?
Also, what brands do people like-strength, easy to care for (I will not be out with a toothbrush cleaning them), and price.
Finally, where is the most economical (cheap) place to get them?
I am seeing more and more HHR's in my area, and they ALL have the factory mag-so I must change mine ASAP.

i wouldent go any bigger than a 18 inch rim by 8, you do have some rubbing with 8 inch wide rims tho. I think you should stop by a custom rim place and him them measure you up and see what will fit without any problems. Hope this helps.

Please stay out of technical threads where you don't belong until you get a clue!
