Opinion on wheels

I saw these at tirerack.com. A good friend of mine thinks that I should stay away from chrome so I am looking at other finishes. What do you guys think of these with the HHR?

I think if u like them they will work. Me personally, I like a rim with a lip, especially on the HHR because it gives it more depth.

Look good to me. Did you use the part where you can actually put them on an HHR and even in your color? I think chrome wheels are snazzy looking and blend well with the look of the vehicle.

Probably the salt they use on our roads in the winter eats at the chrome really bad. They get pitted really quick around here unless you swap sets for, chrome for summer and painted for winter.

I am not ruling out chrome, in fact I like the American Racing Casino in chrome. They also make it in machined. The thing that I don't know is whether a machined wheel will be high maintenance, maybe someone can chime in on this aspect....

These wheels would be for summer use only, I would reinstall the stockers for the winter.

It's a black 2LT. I went to his profile and looked at his posts and that's what it said on one of them.
