Its a nice clean job. A dremels easier than an oven anyway, I can control a dremel. So when you were finished what did you seal them back together with, A plastics epoxy ?

yeah but I've talked to some guys and seen a few vids on you-tube of guys heating them (not HHR's) in an oven and basically pulling them apart.
on the HHR light I melted the housing before GM's glue/silicone/epoxy let go.

Nope, I used good ol' black RTV just in case I ever needed to take them apart again. Besides, I had it laying around.

Very Sharp & I like the idea of using the RTV, water-proof & doesn't burn the return bridge (should the need arise)..

Good to have supplies around...

Very nice looking!

I'm not too sure, but those headlights look familiar.

Very nice. Body color would've been even better.

IMO, the matte black picks up the color in the grille and bumper nicely.

My thoughts exactly!

I mocked them up (painted then remove) with blue (not exact match) paint and thought it was too much. I also mocked them up in all black, liked it... but its been done and I really wanted to incorporate the BFM

Also as noted in a a "How-To" by 1Panel2NV (that I have confirmed) painters tape still pulls off the "chrome"

WOW! Those look great. I would love to paint mine satin black inside to match my car. Maybe a mod for a nice weekend. How did you reseal the headlights?

more then just a weekend project I'm afraid... especially if you use the OEM lights. having an extra set is a good idea.

I used black RTV to reseal mine (so far so good)
