O6ChevyHHR -

Adobe use to put a version of PotoShop LE (Limted Edition) for both Mac & Windows on every CD that came with most scanners, printers, cameras etc. Its been 2 years since i bought my last printer, so i don't know if they still do. I've always used the full version because i had to have it for work, so I'm not familiar with the "limitaions" of LE. From what I understand the LE version has a lot of goodies, i would think enough to do what you want to do.

If you own any of the above listed things (scanners, printers, cameras etc.), check the CDs that came with it. You should already have a version of PhotoShop on one of the CDs.

OK

Here is another suggestion. There are a lot of older versions of photo editing programs available on eBay and they are very inexpensive. I am still using Photoshop 7 on my macintosh and I know you can pick up older programs from legitimate resellers for a fraction of the cost. I was not educated on computers, I am too old, but I taught myself the programs I wanted to use and it continues. Most programs have help files to help you figure things out.

The only way you are ever going to be able to do things for yourself is if you sit down and spend the time to learn the programs. It is the same thing when it comes to working on a car unless you always want to depend on someone to do what you can learn to do yourself. Find a forum on the internet that discusses photo editing programs and join and learn. Good Luck.

I have the full version. It has so many bells and whistles, I don't even know where to begin! I normally use Microsoft Picture It! Photo Premium 9 and even that is a bit much. It came free with my digtal camera in a bundled software pack.
I wish I had more time to learn that stuff.

It is time you learn to do things like the rest of us.
