Which one? If you are talking about the Carriage Works grille it already comes in black. They offer three finishes on their grilles. There is polished aluminum like I have, brushed aluminum, and black. If you get the black Carriage Works grille it is powder coated rather than painted also.

I can't find a picture of it in black..Would it be crazy for a novice to attempt to black out the head lights like that?
