Yeah but only a matter of time before someone does it to a HHR.

I think most PT owners use it to smuggle crack across the border...

if it did fit a spare at least for those of us who have subs and caint get to the spare this may help, it would be nice if someone came out with a side mount trunk spare kit for the HHR to relcocate the spare to the side, then just get a vinl cover. Just my 2 cents tho.

How about mounting one to your Road Ripper and showing us a photo. Maybe we'd all have a change of heart. NOT!!!

BTW...we'd also love to see pics of the subwoofer you added to it.

Remember taste was never a requirement to be a PT owner and that damned ugly "faux" continental kit is definitely proof of that!!! I always wanted to use "faux" in a car forum

Lee that ugly kit was one we used back in the late seventies and early eighgties, it has a hinge and you could pull a chain and the kit lays forward, the manufacturer also had a god-awful gawdy chrome grille cap. I put both pieces on a brand new 82 Eldorado, after I had all of the chrome pieces on the kits and all of the chrome on the car originally, gold plated...It was completely hideous

That kit or any such kit has to be the ugliest, most gaudy, stupid and ridiculous thing you could do to any car. I hope that no one on this sight even thinks about destroying their HHR in such a manner.
