Premiere Ed/SS Spoiler
I was wondering if anyone knows the cheapest place to get a Premiere Edition/SS Spoiler. I'm sort of hoping to find one under $200. I have a Sport Red Metallic HHR 1LT without a spoiler, and I've sort of been thinking about getting a spoiler, but I really hate the looks of the normal hoop/wing spoiler. Is it possible to get a Premiere/ss spoiler painted Sport Red, even though the Premiere Edition HHR and the SS aren't offered in that color? Also, is the Premiere Edition/SS Spoiler fairly easy to install? Thanks

Do you have local junk yards? Most of them have a network of parts. You go to one and they can tell you if they have one or anybody else in the area. Some areas of the country you can even look that up online.

OK, so I e-mailed GM Parts Direct and this was their response:
I told them in the e-mail I sent them that I have a HHR 1LT, not an SS. I figured that the SS spoiler would fit on any HHR, I don't see why it would be any different. But now I just want to check and make sure. Does anyone know for sure if the SS spoiler can be installed on a 1LT without any modifications? Thanks

We do not have any way of telling if a part from another vehicle will fit yours properly without modification to the part. Please research parts that did not come on your vehicle from the factory to make sure they will fit your vehicle. No one wants to be stuck with parts that don't fit due to bad information.
We understand you want parts from another vehicle that was manufactured with an item, or an option. In order to add them to your vehicle which did not come with this type of part or option, we will require a VIN number FROM the vehicle that was manufactured with.
(**NOT YOUR VEHICLES VIN**).
Without this VIN number we will not be able to determine the correct part number you need.
Most of our customers in the past have found a vehicle either at their local gm dealer or have a friend and have supplied us the VIN number from the vehicle they wanted the parts for. We will help you in any way possible but we need a good VIN for the parts you want.
