Probably Been Asked Before...

I was wondering if you could get the "moonie" style wheels other than SoCal. Ive searched to find steelies that fit the hhr that will adapt with the chrome dresser ring and moonie hubcap. Any info will be awesome!

BEWARE of SoCal unless you're willing to drive to San Bernardino to pick up your order (maybe). Unfortunately I and other forum members have learned this lesson the hard way.
I ordered mine direct (online) from Wheel Vintiques in Fresno, Ca. and was very happy with the product, price, and service. They manufacture 3 different16" styles for the HHR: unpainted, unpainted center/chrome rim (mine), and all chrome. They also sell stainless trim rings (for unpainted) and baby moons (mine again).

Good Luck

Not sure what stock wheels you have but if you have the 16" steelies then this is also and option for you http://www.hubcapmike.com/bhc01-16.html

Both the Smoothie Moons and the Racing Discs are a great look at a very reasonable price.

The actual Moon Eyes look great on an HHR but you have to buy the bolt on style. The clip ons will not work on the skinny HHR wheels according to Moon Eyes. They have an HHR test vehicle so I assumed that they knew what they were talking about. I have been through two sets of the bolt on style and after both sets cracked I gave up and installed a set of wheels. I took great pains to be sure the Moons were correctly installed and they still cracked. Of course, Moon Eyes said they had never heard of this happening and I was on my own. The second set I put on lasted less than two weeks. At almost $200 per set I came out cheaper just buying the wheels. Maybe someone who lives in a place with very smooth roads might have a different experience. But Southern California is definitely not that place.
