I agree, but if I wash today all I would have is a HHRcicle. Negative 15 wind chill right now.

My sport red metallic has been two tone for a while now. I try to keep up with the salt but it's like "Mission: Impossible". No washing this weekend because of the following reasons:

1. I am NOT waiting in line for an hour or more at Scrub A Dub

2. It's cold now and getting colder.

3. No chance Sunday. GAMEDAY! Go Pats!

I live just 2 city blocks from the Salts hills and the Trucks go by all day long loading up with salt and Street and HHr is always white at this time of year and spend more time washing it in the winter then the summer. I hope to wash my HHr today, I am very happy that mine has that Electric Start.

I hope you all have a warm day today, It is freaking cold here in Chicago

The salt is ugly but the streaks you get down the back hatch in the salt from using your rear windshield washer are even uglier. I also always seem to have a belt of salt all the way around the middle of my HHR even with the molded splash guards and running boards. And then there is the salt streaks coming oven the hood. I agree salt sucks! But it's better than having all the roads a solid sheet of ice.

Man, you guys have my EXTREME sympathy. We use sand out here. I've often wondered what I'd do if I lived in a state that uses salt- I don't think I could handle it. I love cars too much! I'd probably just go with it and experiment with some kind of commando grunge look- maybe flat paint and lots of powdercoating.

Sand and no Snow I could not handle that after having Snow all of my life.
It must be nice to always have Sunshine or a little Rain.
