Running Board Lights

Has anyone seen any type of aftermaket boards yet that has lights? I have seen kits for other makes in the past, but I am guessing that because the HHR is so new the some makeres are gonna first watch how it sells before jumping in. I did a little something with LEDs I'll post the pics later today.

Add your own, Holmes Hot Ride has them on his HHR:

Running board lights are sold in generic kits and not vehicle specific to my knowlege. Before anyone says anything about my statement I know there are vehicle specific lighted running boards, I'm talking about add on light kits.

Very cool, I like it a lot! Seeing as how you are a fellow New Yorker, do you worry about the cops pulling you over for using blue lights? By state law we can't use blue because volunteer firefighters use it for their lights and some police vehicles use it now. Same with visible lighting, its illegal just like wheel lights or led window washer nozzles. Are you not going to use them while driving or just not worry about the cops?

Even if he is they can't just drive around with their blue lights on all the time. They have to be in route to a fire.

Looks GOOD!!!

My opinion, everyone has one, is that with the lights being low and on sides, less chance for them to be mistaken as police lights.

Why did he not get a fire engine red HHR and have a dalmation ride with him??

Tell them the lights are a safety feature, to light up running boards for proper foot placement, DOT mandated.

He is in good with the cops, hey Captain, you seem to have a lot of problems with police??

Looks like the HHR is in the firehouse...

Back to original thought, lights look good, not too much and matches the Blue vehicle. Thanks for posting.
