Running Boards on the SS - PIX!

Got a pair of new running boards on Fleabay for $107 shipped!
I installed the right side in the driveway.
It was a piece of cake after borrowing a trim removal tool from the friendly body shop around the corner.
I'll get a shot of the removal tool before I return it.

I'll ask the secretary if I can get her pic when I'm there tomorrow.
I made her blush today and it really works on her.
I had my mojo working and she digs me

Here's the first round of pix as it sits in the garage.

Now I have to go back to a couple of dozen covered bridges, Quabbin Reservoir, some car shows, Queechee Gorge, Northern Maine, Orange County Choppers,
New Hampshire's White Mountains and a dozen other places to reshoot all those pix so I can really compare how they look in the wild

Nice, might be looking to trade for a set of those! I got the flush set but never put them on, never bothered to try to figure out how to get them off.

Got er done!
It looks great to me.

Now I need to take her on a quick 200 mile road trip to evenly distribute the dust.
After she's washed I'll take some nicer pix out in the wild somewhere

Thanks for the heads up Rick!

This is the 2nd SS I've seen the Running Boards on (The 1st was a mistake from the factory where one of each was put on ). I prefer the skirts but if you like it thats all that matters

You will like these Alot easier to keep clean, and they are somewhat usable.

One big feature of the SS flares that I couldn't stand is getting in and out with long pants wiped a section clean every time.
That looks so shabby to have a nice even coat of dust on the whole car except the obvious pantleg wipe.
The boards are at such a different angle so even if it gets pantleg wipe it probably won't be so obvious.

And yeah Chad I'm looking forward to not having to lean against a wet car to wash the roof (I'm 5'8").

That's what a duster and detail spray is for

No skirts but I think I could find my Mom's old corset from the 50's

The SS flares have been promised to DLVRNIT for a while now, sorry.
