Has anyone had rust/paint bubbles form on their tailgate?

I washed the car today and took off my license plate to clean back there and found 3 - 4 places where the paint had bubbled up.

Has anyone had this happen? Thankfully I found it now because I am about 700 miles from my 36K warranty being up!

 

you should have a 6 year standard warranty from rust on your vehicle. may want to double check

 

I think the rust usually only covers completely through rust holes...but I may not be right.

I'm pretty sure mine has one bubble under the license plate. I do know that there are a few bubbles on the one back door... Nothing I'm too concerned about since I keep it so clean...

 

The bottom of my driverside door is starting to get a few

 

A few on mine too. I'm goin' in on Tues. to see my dealer.

 

Taking mine in on Monday, also having them re-shoot bumper. It has been scuffed since I bought the car (got it with 17k on it).

 

at 58000km i have them on the bottoms of all my doors

dealer is fixing at no cost

 

Once I spotted the ones on my tailgate, I went all over the car and found them on my drivers side bottom door seam across most of it and also starting on my passenger side as well. Owned alot of cars and never had anything like this on a 2 year old car. It is now at the dealer being fixed. Did your dealer say it was a common problem?

 

body shop manager says he's never heard of it before

found rust bubbles on my 08... purchased new on 07-07-08, WTF? drivers side hood and fender... what has any dealers or gm told any one bout this?
