You can get them other places than the dealership. Several are usually on EBay also.

They are oem boards that you can get from outside sources like ebay, gmpartsdirect.com, etc..................

How about a two tone like this? Or you could use the faint factory body line that's a few inches above the running boards to put more silver on the lower body than just the boards.
