Is Silverstone same as "Light Tarnished Silver"?
Is Silverstone same as "Light Tarnished Silver"?
It would seem so according to Duplicolor but not sure. New member here so if there's a faq somewhere answering questions like this let me know. Small rear bumper nick appeared on my nearly brand new 2007--looks like it might be shopping cart inflicted. Well at least I've gotten the first ding out of the way
The GM touch up paint I had the dealer order me using my VIN says it is tarnished silver and I drive a Dark Silver Metallic HHR. I can't remember if it says light, medium, or dark before the tarnished silver part though. I can check the cans later on when I get home.
the paint name on the bottle wont match all the time. the paint color has a name and code. when it gets put on a car the marketingpeople name the color something else. i.e. a chevy truck and a gmc truck might have the same color paint thus the same code. however might be named totaly differently. when you order the gm part it might have a 3rd paint name but look on your door jam and you will see a paint code. that should match the bottle.

to the site!!! As already stated, one color code may have different color names on different vehicles.
