It doesnt appear to me that Deb posted this thread to ask our opinions. I have seen other threads where an opinion was asked. It's the delivery of ones message is how it's taken as offensive or not.
I see this thread Deb posted to show us all another option/modification that is possible and what it looks like.

Long story short, this is only a situation because of old tiffs.

That's why CH's comments "stung" and Deb replied. Its more a matter of allegiance than actual offense.

I was being nice in just commenting on the cuts. It would look hot without the uneven cuts, if it had a nice smooth finished look. That's just my opinion. I'm not cutting down anyones mods. If Debs happy that's all that matters. When people don't like something I do to my ride or make a negative comment so what? I don't feel the need to jump down that persons throat because they are entitled to their opinion. I don't expect everyone to like what I did. Obviously I'm proud of it because I'm posting about it. I just leave it alone because if you don't the thread turns into pointless debates and arguing just like this thread. If somebody doesn't like one of your mods so what? Do you mod your car for them? you shouldn't attack someone on a personal level because their opinion is different from yours.

I have nothing more to say. My simple comment about the uneven cuts it has should have just been left alone. No need to jump to Debs defense. It was just one mans opinion about the obviously visible uneven cuts. I shouldn't have been attacked because my opinion when I said nothing bad about Deb or her ride.

Yeah but you have got to expect it when starting a look at what I did thread. People are going to give their opinion whether positive, negative, or indifferent. So does that mean if we start a look what I did thread we shouldn't expect anyone to post their opinions and just look at the pictures?

I don't have an extra grille. I chopped up my only grille and did much better! I was one of the first if not the first on this site to cut up a factory grille. This is how it turned out:

I almost forgot everyone around here expects 100% positive feedback and everybody else on the site to like what they did and kiss their ass regardless if the other persons opinion is it looks like ****.

1. Your Mods as far as your Grill & Hood Scoop likes nice. I like it very much.
2. We must all get a long on this site and respect each other without
Downing anyone person about any thier Mods that they have made.
3. I myself like a few other out there do not mind Kissing a Little Female Ass
from time to time, I haven't met any Man who doesn't. Deb you go Girl!
