Talking Smoke's New Dash Kit

Here's the Medium Burlwood 55 piece dash kit that I got from edashkit.com. I was able to use all but a couple pieces (no sunroof and no automatic transmission). Very pleased with the way it turned out...sure added a rich look to the interior of the HHR.

Here's a few pics and there are more in my photobucket album HERE.

Mighty snazzy there Deb! (that's a good thing) I see you swaped the floor mats. The other ones had quite a "busy" patern on them.
That kit looks great with the cashmere interior!

Burlwood and tan look nice together. That's the same color combo I had in my Mustang.

Got quite a few things done this weekend. Grille, Dash Kit, Chevrolet Script and bowtie decals. Also have my Tony "Smoke" Stewart shifter ball...but I'm going to have to thread the shifter handle before I can add that...gonna see if a friend has the tool, if not I guess I'll have to get one. Also planning on painting the CGS and coil & fuse covers...just have to run to Century Chevrolet and pick up my Sunburst Orange Metallic spray paint. While I've got the CGS off, I need to adjust the bend on the support bar, as it hits against the hood strut just a tad and drives me nuts.

Here's the decal I put on the bowties and the Chevrolet script.

Application wasn't too bad. Took me about 3 hours to do the entire car which was about what I expected. It's best to test fit each piece before removing the 3M backing. The areas that are curved need to be formed to make application a little easier, like around the steering wheel controls and window switch area. Those pieces also need some pressure on the edges so they don't pop loose, but other than that...it wasn't too bad.
