Smoothed with Photoshop
Once again playing in photoshop trying a few things. I haven't decided where to put the License plate yet. Possibly down in the lower right corner with a few rows of louvers across the tailgate?

If you were to do this for real:
I think someone on the site had a hideaway plate bracket setup for the front (it sit's flat underneath then you can pull it out and upright when you need to be legal. Adapt it for the back to maintain the clean look. problem is you would need some kind of lighting for driving at nite
Louvers - leave em off keep the clean look. Need the dual tail lights back. My 2 cents

i agree, the dual tails looks much better. the now empty space from the lower ones just looks odd, like you just know something SHOULD be there. as for the plate location, i like Grumpee's idea, adapt a hide-away bracket to the rear, maybe find a way to attach a light to the top or sides of it (to illuminate the plate for legal night driving), and design such a way that those lights only come on when the plate is displayed, though i wouldn't invest too much into that, since you likely won't ever need the lights on in a situation where the plate can legally be hidden.
I think it looks OK
I think it looks OK. I looked at the pictures of your car and it really looks nice.
If it was me the only thing I would do is paint your grill to match and that black thing under the grill to match.
For the rear of the car filling in all of that stuff would look Ok but I do not think it would be worth the time trouble and money. Maybe you could just remove the chrome chevy emblem and trim piece and leave the rest like it is. I think that would look good.
DEFINATLY DO NOT PUT LOUVERS ON IT! I think that would ruin the smooth, clean look you have. Curly
