So I went TRON on Iron Man.........

Not too sure yet, but I think there may be a reason to go with black or clear door edge guards

I think I may be taking this add-on chrome thing a bit too seriously

But I did have the drivers door torn from my grip one windy day and slammed into a brick wall. The edge needed paint after that chipping, so I vowed to get the door edges protected.

I'm just not too sure about IRON TRON

Just my opinion but, I think I'd go with the clear.

Too much, and go with clear. I think I'm on board with that.

But hey, I spent my $10.00 I'm going to TRY and live with it , at least until I can get some black or clear.

I'm thinking Black may break up the lines to much as well. I cannot find any clear at the auto stores. Guess I'll have to order some, eh

Then again for another twenty bucks I could outline ALL the doors and edges in TRON chrome Maybe for Halloween, but I'd want theose neon lights that you have Doughboy. Them's cool

Subdivide and conquer

I was thinking about doing that to ours, but now that I've seen it on a darker vehicle, I think I'll try and find some clear stuff.

That's why these forums are cool.

One of us can do something and we all benefit from the experience. Kinda like what Deerslayer does, oh well, maybe not quite like that

The thing I am not liking is the chrome on the back door following the wheel well around but stopping since it is only really on the door. I like the verticles a lot more but not so much that part partly following the wheels. I may cut the lower section off the back and see how it looks.

I think if you like it go with it!! Me, I would go with none at all. But, I kinda stay with the plain classic look, That is me. You go with what you like. I have seen many HHRs, been to plenty of shows with HHRs. They may not be to my taste..but I do enjoy seeing all the different cars, and all the personalities. So if you think it looks good , well stick with it!! Todd (Uma)
