ok well lemme reiterate...
I have the antenna up front...
I dont have an antenna in the rear...
I dont have OnStar...
I dont have XM...
if I recall from the literature I looked at the XM and OnStar is the same(the rear antenna) but the OnStar has an extra stubby antenna...whereas the XM only is just the smooth base...

I'll have to wait until the snow melts. 
Nah, I know its not going to hit the sunroof. Its only a couple of inches long and made of billet aluminum so its stiff. I'll get a day shot later on.

My antenna is in the front in the center of the HHR on the roof. There is no antenna in the glass. It was really long and for the radio. I don't have XM or OnStar so the front antenna is all I have. As far as I know the one antenna in front is for them all. All I know is the stock radio antenna was long,ugly, and slapped your sunroof at high speeds. Now my HHR looks alot better!
