SocalHHR's stuby antenna

Just got it in the mail the other day and went to put it on. However it did not come with its own screw for the base. Do I have to remove the screw from the factory antenna? If so how, I tried to pull it out with out messing up the threads but it didn't feel like it will come out without damage. I really don't want to destroy the factory antenna if at all possible.

Although my antenna didn't come from SoCal, it too came w/ it's own package of screws.

Mine came with the 4 screws too! At first I didn't realize what they were for. Then when I took the stock antenna off, I knew!!

Not necessarily, you could probably go down to the local auto parts store and they might have what you need. Take the old fishing pole with you along with the stubby and show them what you need.. Hope this helps

Question Socal HHR question

Hi all, Spring is coming and I wanted to order somethings for my HHR. I went to what I thought was the Socal site and it appears they are selling all of their inventory on ebay??? It appears they are clearing out. Is it possible they are going out of business?? Please say it isn't so.
Thanks,
Big Dog
