They are trying to pass a legislation in New York right now that would make them illegal. New Yorks trafic and vehicle laws suck! They are also want to pass a bill that would make a tint check part of our annual inspection. That would suck for me. To answer the question no not yet. $2000 isn't enough for a set of spinners anyways.

I hate spinners. It ticks me off when the government tries to tell us what we can and cannot do on a level that doesn't even consern them. If i was superman we wouldnt have to put up with crap like that. Then we could all pull blue led underbody kits on our car. STICK IT TO THE MAN! :)

I don't like them either. I can't really figure out why they would ban them here anyways. They did a feature about it on our local news last week but I missed what brought in on. Probably too distracting or something like that. I should check the SEMA site.

You could almost put in a nice stereo system for $2000.

Get a set of Boyds! lol According to Darkside, you can get anything from the "Gotcha Series" This is just MHO so I am not trying to ruffle feathers. They maybe pricey, but I have seen them in person and they look great! Or you check into some other mods...

Best of luck and beware of the hole in your pocket!
