Splash Guards

Do I need splash guards if I have running boards?

Thanks!

Not necessary but provide a little extra protection. I have both.

I have running boards and splash guards and they look good. Here's a little detail tip. Go out and get a silver paint pen used for painting models. I bought Testors. Paint the raised HHR letters on the back guards. Looks good.

Here's a pic of a blue HHR with GM splash guards and running boards.

I just had the back ones on with running boards i thought it looked better. One of the front ones got busted over railroad tracks. Anyway I ended up with rock chips over rear wheels don't know if front guards would have helped or not but they are back on
