Stock Grille Mods
I've been toying around with this idea:
http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/i/Hi...rille_Idea.jpg That's cutting out 2 of the bars, taping off the bowtie, and satin black on the grille. Any thoughts? |
Thoughts, not my style, I like the stock grill, is very similar to the bars grills on late forty chevy's, and that is the look I like.
For something different, it is kind of cool, would you have some mesh in the empty space, or just look at radiator?? |
There would be a black mesh behind the bars.
Going for more of a performance look. |
I think it's kind of cool. It's way too open like that so the black mesh would be a good idea. It would be unique! :thumb: I wouldn't do it to mine of course now that I have the billet one. It kind of weird, I want to make my HHR dull and all of the accessories bright.

Erich from Darkside gave me the idea:
http://www.hhrclub.org/galleries/hhr...rk-side_11.jpg I'll definitely do mesh behind...if I go this route. |
It would have to be thick mesh in order to block out the internal view of the raditor
|
Black mesh will block it just fine - you'd be surprised.
|
I like the bar that goes across each of the fog lights. I would buy that part of someone sold it
|
I like it, Looks good!

It does look good, Go for it SoCal! It will look better with some aluminum mesh. I don't know if your into Maltese Crosses but this mesh might look kind of cool behind it:
Attachment 45111 The bar on the bottom kind of looks like the one that goes from light to light on the SSR. |
