Stock no more! Custom Shiftboot + Spoiler! :)

Hey gang!

I finally got around to adding something to my baby that I've been dying for - a spoiler and custom shift boot!

The spoiler was a gift from dad for my birthday and we put it up together in the lovely, South Floridian humidity. Definitely gives the car a "sporty" look! :)

As for the boot, I participated with Redline Goods - http://www.redlinegoods.com/ to create their first HHR boot and have to say I am very pleased with the result! The factory one was starting to peel and I opted for a genuine leather one. Since the outside of my car is SMO, I decided to put the threads in orange and the racing line in charcoal since that's the colour on parts of my dashboard.

The boot is pretty easy to install depending on how you want to attach it to its base. They have a bunch of colours and options to chose from.

My next plan, if I ever get around to it, is RIMS and a better sound system. I've kept my car pretty stock as I do like how it looks without adding anything too flamboyant. For once in my life, less is more. LOL!

Oh, I also put on new shoes on him. Cooper Touring tires. I love them!

Yes, looks very nice. Capp they do make boots for the automatics on the new ones. They just aren't as big, so it would have to be custom made.

I checked the website. They only have boots for the manual. (the one he just had them make) I sent them an email about making a custom one for an automatic. I'm thinking black with a silver carbon fiber stripe and blue thread.

Hey, I never looked at any websites. Mine came factory that way from chevy, not sure what year they switched it and not sure what year yours is, but maybe I just misunderstood you, and you knew that and wanted a site for it. It looks like you have that figured out though.
