Stripes and Scripts and Emblems, OH MY!

Hey Hey All,

The search tool is ok for the patient types. That being said, I am not one of those people.

I know how much all of you love to show off your HHR stuff, so...........

I want to add some hood scripts and perhaps a pin/paint stripe. I would love to see what you have and the places to get them!.

I anxiously await................

Thanks!

I did my own pinstripe using a spool of 3M Striping. I would recommend using a complementary color or something which will show up well against your paint color. (Imperial Blue usually will help standard blue striping show up incredibly well)

The custom emblem on my gate was one I created from a Disney pin. Anything you want to use as an emblem, just make sure it can handle outdoor conditions, then use some 3M emblem tape to apply it when it's flat enough to be installed.

A good place to find badging is Year One, if you're looking for vintage stuff.

Hope this helps!

I bought my vinyl striping here......

http://www.vinylgraphics4less.com/pigr.html

I got 150' for quite a bargain. Looks nice and with 150 feet, you've got room for "mistakes".

I've seen lots of folks get their real scripts from www.fillingstation.com or from www.muttonhollowchevys.com

Hope this was a help. Beats searching

THANK YOU! I love YOUR HHR, it is a GREAT COLOR!!!

I got the idea from another member, 'Bertland', there are pics in his gallery & a thread somewhere on this site about it...

I purchased them from 'gmpartsdirect.com'...they are from the trunk lid of a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo...they can be found by searching the catalog under 2006 Chevrolet Aveo, then click 'trunk lid' on the left column, then 'exterior trim'...they are #5 if you view the illustration that is available...

you can PM me if you have trouble finding them...
THANKS AGAIN for the kind feedback, & enjoy your SUMMIT WHITE HHR!!!
