Stubby Door Locks

Does anyone know where I can find these now that SoCal has gone out of business? Were they exclusive to SoCal only???

You can lower your own...just twist off the original door lock knobs carefully and take a pair of sidecutters and cut the stock lock rod. You might also want to take a very fine bit and drill up tothe indentation on the stock knob to help lower it as well. I did that originally and then bought the ones from Mike anyway.

Thanks Deb. I might try that but since I'm a bit leary of doing anything myself, it kind of scares me to do anything to my new baby....at least on my own. I had a rough time talking myself into pulling the dash to install the mount for my Ipod, but did it anyway. I figure if I can do that then I should have no problem doing the locks. I know the install for the Ipod bracket isn't the best option available, but it works for me!

If you plan on using the existing lock knobs, make sure you are pulling them up by the base.
