I Just tinted my tail light with the smoked film last weekend.
a 12"x24 strip did my tail lights, and all 4 side markers.
there was enough left over that i could of done the rear reflectors
but i thought i would leave them to have some visibility at night.
you do not want to have the film pre cut because you will need some over hang to pull on, in order to mold around the lights.
The best way is to:
-remove the tail lamps
-Cut 4 6x6 squares. (That should be about 1" larger than the lights)
-Clean the lenzes
-Center the square, and start appling pushing out from the center
-then get a heat gun, and warm the edges.
-using your fingers slowly mold the film around the edge
-use a SHARP knife and trim along the edge of the lenz
-Reinstall
-Then worry if the light is bright enough at night
I did it I heard from a few People that the light is alot Harder to see.
I think I am going to get some spider lites, or just some LED Bulbs, to see if that makes it any better
But It does Look Cool, I just wish I could get the material A few shades lighter
The entire install took just over an hour.

Here is the pic.
But just to let you know The film was fine for about a week and then the edges started to lift on me.
I am planning to get a set of chrome tail light rings and that should cover that problem.
