Taillight rings??? Any update???

I know it's been some time, but am curious if anyone ever sucessfully farmed out the process of creating 'taillight (beauty) rings'? Just curious.

I know several are working on this and we'll be notified as soon as a prototype has been made. I know I'll be one of the first in line to purchase when they become available.
