Goo Be Gone is really good and cheap. It is great with sticky stuff and alike.

How to take off road tar...

well after going out of town several times, i had passed several areas where the roads are bieng "fixed".

Didnt notice till today when i was washing my car, that i had ALOT of road tar/or pavement or whatever it is stuck to my car in all kinds of places.

I tried with my absorber to get some of it off, it does come off but its sticky as hell, and its just too much for me to do alone.

Does anyone know of any product that will help i guess "melt" it down so i can wipe it off, or is it best to take it to some detail shop and have them do it?

hell thats all i need on my new car is all that crap

I thought our Montana minivan was bad, but the HHR has it beat. I swear everytime I wash the windshield it is not 5 minutes and there is a bug splat right in front of me.
