Third brake light LEDs

Hey, everyone. I recently installed the Bermuda Black IPCW leds and was wondering if anyone had a fix for matching the third brake light? I followed my car the other day for the first time, and noticed how awkward the third brake light looks when lit now, compared to the LED taillights. Thanks!

I got some LED "bulbs" for the third brake light, but they werent quite as bright and looked like 4 spots rather than filling out the light lens. They are type 921.
I got the red 921x12 from here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b....html%23ipanel

LEDs

I bought four red lights on eBay and they do look like points instead of a "wall" of light like the regular bulbs did. However, the LEDs in the kit on my four brake/backup lights look like that, too. I did NOT change any other lights to LEDs (side marker, license plate) since I don't want those to look like points of light. The four LEDs on the 3rd brake light are just as visible as the old lights were, they are simply different.

I got two red LED strips and mounted the on top of the "red glass" on the brake light. I tapped into the power line going to the bulbs and removed the bulbs. The cool thing is the strips always glow, but really low. When you hit the breaks they light up BRIGHT.

That sounds like something I would like to try on my HHR! Where did you get the LED strips at?
