Does anyone have the front windows tinted? If so, what %. I would like the fronts to match the rear, but not sure what % to go with...

 

20% will match the rears

 

Yup. 20%. Mine are done, but it's illegal in TN (actually, illegal in most states to go that dark). But we've done this is several vehicles and have never had an issue with it. In most states, you'll get a "fix-it" ticket, you'll have to strip the tint and take it in to prove it's gone. Possibly a small fine. My installer here does it for cash only, no receipt and no compliance sticker on the window. You do it at your own risk.

 

Yup, i think it was 20% when i had my truck done,,and had to sign a waiver stating i chose this % of tint, and not the installer,,never had a problem with the law and have been pulled over a few times w/ it on (taillight out/ a lil faster than posted speed limit etc)

 

Yea i usually go 35%.. Still looks Dark and Blacked out at night. Yet Allows the Cops to see in.
I've had the same % on all my Vehicles never got pulled over for it. Here in IL the law is for zero Tint on the front.

 

I did the legal here in TN. which is 35%. Looks good to me.

 

I got them done lastnight... Pretty much matches up. 20%

 

Did mine with 35% tint to keep it legal......... still looks good and very few people notice that the fronts are just a little lighter than the rears.....

 

Had mine done at 30%. It's illegal by 5%, but you can still see inside, barely, and it's a bit darker than 35%. No problems so far with the law. I also had to sign a wavier at the tint shop.

 

In Michigan, any dark tint on the front windows is illegal unless it's applied only on the top 4 inches of the windows. But reflective tint up to 35% is OK. I am thinking of doing 35% reflective.
