TINTED BRAKE LIGHTS (Lamin-X)

Here's a link to some pics of my tinted (reverse) lights!! I used the Lamin-X product (in their store under 'uncut sheet' measuring 6" X 12"- quantity of 2 sheets, for $32 delivered) to complete the job. This cost was to my door, and shipping, although pricey, was blazing fast!

So far, I love it!!! The only problem I have is that I didn't order enough to complete the task at hand!

The product, itself, is self-adhesive and 17MM's THICK!!! Even still... the material becomes very plyable when heat is applied (with a blowdryer) and actually conforms to the lens contours very well. The adhesive is VERY tacky and it seems as if it will stay on for quite some time. Please note this IS NOT window tint!!! It's literally 50x thicker!

I may just leave the brake lights alone and get a RED bowtie for the rear... we'll see. Check out some pics ---> http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/hrc_f3...db9re2&.src=ph

So far- this ride is still (technically) "Legal".

Let me know what you think.

I want to see it but I'm blocked by the firewall where I work. Looks like I have to wait.

Thanks for the feedback... Sorry about the firewall thing CH. I'd post pic's here except for the fact that I guess I'm a cheap a$$ and never donted to THIS site (yet).
Sorry for the inconvenience.
