Triple Lakes Installed- CJ's HHR
a single 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 in cutout and y is right at $219 plus install and pipes to get to it
i already had this in the price of the whole thing so there is no surprise here
i will just have to reposition the lakes
i am taking off all the daps once i get them installed, spraying the inside of all the black so they look like they are used and the 1/2 turn screws will work
these were relatively easy to install, i used 3 inch bolt head stainless self taping 1/4 in screws. the walls are double walled so i used a lil smaller drill to start the screw in and they are very very tight.
i will do final adjust tomorrow or sunday when the weather is better and i can see
the hangars worked great that they sold and every thing was chrome and the hangars were thick metal, 1/8 to 3/16. I used the clips that push over and cover the holes with kind of a double wall to make the thread. The screw went thru there and up into the frame. the pipes are about 1/8 from the running boards. it really holds everything tight

i could also hang or pop rivet some heat reflective type material under the running boards.

the rails and lakes make it look longer, even the wife noticed when we came out of a store and it was there alone. make the hood look longer too.
Pretty cool and i am like the look more and more

Very sharp looking CJ!!
