when im fininaly able to buy and powder coat intake parts and valve cover id like the color to go good with my orange hhr but i dont know what color would look good, i also plan on puting lights under it and would like those lights to match whats the under the hood

oh one more thing i would like to paint the fuse box cover and that other plastic piece to match also any suggestion? thanks

 

Match the orange or black.

 

Silver goes pretty good too, or chrome goes with EVERYTHING :)

 

thanks only thing about matching with orange is i have found it hard to find paints and such in orange

 

dealer or any body shop should be able to tell ya where to get the paint.

 

I personally like the look of chrome or polished. When I have the time I will be polishing my valve cover. I have tried a test spot and it looks like it will turn out well.

 

Duplicolor sells a copper metallic that would look sweet on the fuse box cover on an Orange model. Make sure to get some bulldog to get good adhesion.

I just painted mine Victory Red to match the exterior and I also painted a portion of the Filter cover as well. Pic's coming soon of the whole deal.
