Yes there is a gasket under the cam cover.

Most use powder coat

There is a reusable gasket I think it is silicon

I lied it was actually Lake Point Park but in Marblehead. From Marblehead website "Lake Point Park is a former roadside park that has been developed into a serene picnic area with grills, a bridge crossing a delightful stream and access to both quarry and Lake fishing."

Grey, do you have any gap between the taillight bezels and the body of your HHR? I'm getting ready to install mine and it seems it is not flush, I'm just wondering if that is the norm.

There is a minor gap. My advice before installing is to prefit, rotate, and change pieces to find best fit

Does the gap allow any light to bleed through the side when the lights are on or brake applied? I'm not worried if they don't bleed.
