Which visor to use???
Hello,
I have a 2008 HHR and I'd like to know how many of you have visors on your HHR's? Which one fits the best w/ less hassle and stays on? I currently have the no hole drill VIZOR in my garage and I read the directions on how to install and I'm alittle concerned about cutting away windshield moulding and inserting the tabs under glass, putting pressure here and there, etc. I'm thinking about switching this VIZOR out for the Calf. Cruiser rolled one, that attaches on the sides w/ bolts and expoxy in the middle. Any pros or cons, experiences about these particular visors would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

I do not own one yet but I am looking into the rolled visor as well. I think it looks the best personaly. As far as pros and cons go, the rolled visor seems to be secured nicely and you can have them paint it to match your HHR. Cons, it might be noisey if you have a sunroof, but hopefully no more than what the mesh sunroof deflector already makes. Thats my main concern.
Can someone shine light on this?

From personal experience: California Cruisers Rolled Visor
PROS - Looks great (especially on mine?)
CONS - Noisey; starts at 40-45 mph and increases with speed (I have NO
sunroof).
Hard to see traffic lights - you will need viewer/prism (or stick your
head out of open sunroof)
Having to drive to San Bernardino to buy in person from Uncle Bob so
you can be assured of getting the parts after you pay for them.
You might want to do a thread search for "windshield visor" for more opinions.

My point exactly.
Oh, and another for the CONS - I've lost between 1 and 2 mpg with the added drag of the visor. HOWEVER, I'd do it all again because I obviously love the "old school" look and, after all, appearances ARE everything.
