Wanting a "retro" look on my LT, can I delete the rear windows and get panel doors?
Body control module, if you install panel door poppers you need to program it.

Yes there are, again it would be easier to install aftermarket, just have to connect to power and ground , place the dash buttons where ever You want or just use the key fob buttons that come with most kits.
You can also install non electric mechanical spring poppers , no wires required and a wire to pull to open the rear door latch , from way back when , the only thing we hooked up was an 8 track under the dash .
Here’s some insight from a hot rod website

so iv done it all , turned window hhr's into too aa5 , and full panels , back when panel doors were hard to find i would make weld in plates yes its a lot of work and no they are not flat they do have a curve the nice thing about using window rear doors u were able to keep the rear door window panels , what i did was make a insert for were the window was for the inside also for the rear qtr so they look finished when it was all done we did some cool fabric inserts that were fun , and i used the window power switches for the rear doors to power poppers , as for using panel rear doors on a window hhr u have to change out the window harness for the panel harness as they are wired different and if u don't when u put it in park it pops the rear door open , or u have to cut the power wire to the panel harness also if u can find panel qtrs it a lot cleaner to weld in the top half its a lot less mud work same welding just a better fit and a lot less mud ,,, hope it all makes sense as as my thinking and writing some time don't match ,,,,
But he has an SS. It's a 2008, so no one is going to be fooled that it is an original SS panel(or AA5). A lot of work, and money, just to add huge blind spots to the vehicle. If you're not a body/metal worker, it's going to cost a lot.
Well i got a SS so that's why i don't wanna buy panel and go that route its much more expense for me to do(clone) the other. So how hard is it to find a harness for a panel? what buttons you talking about to use for the poppers any pics i know they discontinued the factory ones wish i could find close to original button/s
