What decal color would look best

I am thinking about adding a decal to my HHR. Either flames or just a pin stripe but I dont know what color would look the best.

Maroon, definately.

a light-coloured vehicle like the Sandstone needs a pinstripe colour that stands out.

For what it's worth I went with this. I was told by the guy who pin striped my car, Maroon does not hold up that well.

My truck was a "Light Autumwood Met" and I had a set of red 350SS decals on the bed. The color combo looked nice. Good offset to each other.

Do what I did when I had mine done. We could not decided what would look best without actually seeing them on the car. The shop that did mine took us up to the place where he buys all his pinstriping. We looked at the color chart and selected a few we thought would look nice. The guy behind the counter then gave us the rolls of pinstriping in those colors and let us take them out to the HHR and put some on my car. We did that until we found one I liked and then my striper purchased the roll and went back and striped the car. Worked for me.

BTW...I selected another color, please explain...so this is my explanation.

Thanks for the advice. I like the color choices above in the pictures. I have tried to find a place that does pinstriping around here with no luck. I guess I will keep looking. I would rather have paint then vinyl.

if you like ghost flames, i have a sandstone HHR, and added silver ghost flames, and they really look good. Lots of compliments .
