Okay, Mikey, here's your HHR in Daytona Blue with American Racing Casinos (Joe's HHR with a color change):

That is butt ugly!! You ruined my ride!!

Please refrain from further defacing of my images! (j/k)

Just stick to photoshopping Road Rippers, please.

Bluew/Casinos

Mine will probably end up exactly like the picture. I live in a place that is constantly gray; a natural darkroom that was ideal for what Eastman was doing. I dispise gray!! Since there is no teal, Daytona Blue will have to do.
As far as lowering is concerned, I'd probably try just doing the front first and leaving the back to see how the rake looked.

kodak, my pic was taken about sunset, so it is dark.

I know what you mean about the occasional sunshine in upstate NY. I grew up in Binghamton. When I moved to SE VA in '69 I began to notice... Hey the sun's out, again.... and again!

I know they're 8.5's - but I just LOVE the FATTY lip!

Not bad at all for $1500 including tires.
Here is a pic of those FOOSE Nitrous Wheels on a real HHR..

And a close up...

These are 18x8.5 with a 34mm offset, on 235/40's. Of course, with the 34mm offset, may not be able to lower it as most of you have done. I am sure it will look much better though....
