If you are serious about modding your HHR (which quite a few owner are doing) then by all means help each other out, ask/answer questions, compare notes & prices, photoshop wheels/accessories for fellow HHR owners... BUT don't BS good folks like Alien & Kodak along into photoshop-ing crazy requests... especially for a HHR that might/or not even happen.

IMHO, I believe that's what Capt was trying to explain to this kid (06ChevyHHR)

Not trying to squelch the enthusiasm, but at least "keep it real" with your intentions. (and requests)
Agreed 100%.

JD, I agree that it's easier to Photshop than to lay down BIG BUCKS for accessories. At least that option is available now, not like in the "good old days". For the most part, it's just harmless messing around, but there are limitations on time and talent. I like to fool around with Photoshop, but sometimes can't get what I'm after because I just mess with it and don't rely on it for my living. Cutting and pasting and changing colors gives you an idea that a body shop would charge a small fortune to do. In my case, I'd love to have a teal HHR. At least I know now what it would look like.

Is this for real? If it is all I can say is WOW

I think one should use every available information they can about mods to their vehicle. I do know photoshop takes time to do and the members who have Graciously provided that service here for free to other members should be applauded. I also think there is a line and one should use discretion about posting random requests in a public forum asking people to photoshop things for them. I think its great we all help each other out but in my opinion threating to leave the site until everyone apologizes to you for stating their opinion and sure perhaps some mild manner ribbing in fun is pretty ri****ulous.

I dont have anything against you 06ChevyHHR but I dont thionk you should leave because of something trivial as posted opinions..I am sure you have lots to offer this great site.

I am really surprised that the Captain rubs people the wrong way..I mean...doesnt anyone have a backbone anymore? Cant we state opinions and debate things without "threatening to leave"..I mean..jeesh..its AMERICA..this Great Country was founded on Opinions and debates and the freedom to be able to state them.

All right..I will get off my soapbox now.

Maybe i should change my signature from gas geek HHR freak to "Friend of the Captain"...LOL
