Lightbulb wheels

Whats up HHR world?
I was wondering if Chevy Iroc wheels, the ones with spokes, would fit on an HHR. (I believe the year is from 1980's).

Sorry, not a chance. Those were RWD, to the best of my knowledge, no RDW wheels can be used on FWD. But like my sig says, I'm often wrong!

BTW, welcome to the forum!

what happens when you put RWD in a FWD vehicle?

The wheels themselves just won't fit. Different pattern, depth etc....

For the HHR you need a 5X110 pattern with a 42mm offset.

Think of it this way, you couldn't replace a manual transmission with an auto and still use the clutch.

Now if you want to switch out the whole drivetrain, motor, tranny, change to RWD, then you can use your wheels. You could even use the old IROC engine! Not that would be a badass mod!!

thanx for the response, I'm gonna check this wheel place that sells the IROC wheels in different sizes from 15" to 22"
I dont think those wheels came 20" as stock in an IROC, hopefully I can find a set that will fit my HHR, that would be different and at the same time keeping it all chevy.

As long as the pattern is 5X110 with 42mm offset, you'll be fine. Check out one of our supporting vendors, truckshop.com and a couple others, have a good selection of rims.

I'd bet that they were 15's at the most, maybe even 14's.
