09 2LT Radio fade front to back

Seems that the rear speakers are weak. When I fade toward the rear, I loose 50% of my volume. All volume seems to come in the front speakers. Searched the site for other comments about this. Is this normal? Just seems I should be able to hear the rear speakers blended with the front without fade going to the rear at 80%.

I noticed this when I purchase my 06 LS a few years ago. Took it into the dealer and they stated that it was normal. I bought my 09 2LT in February and have noticed the same thing. I typically leave the fade biased toward the rear to even out this issue. I will say the the 7 speaker Pioneer set up is much, much better than the base LS radio and speakers from my 06.

A safe balance is for the rear to be weaker because more noise is coming from the front of the car (wind, engine, etc.). If you have it equal front and rear, your rear is actually much louder and that may annoy people in back or be unbalanced if you are alone when you come to a stop.
