Okay, so I got 2 - 12inch subs and 1100 watt amp

Can I run this on a stock radio ?

I'm just looking for bass

If the amp has high level speaker wire inputs, you're good to go. Just need a wiring kit. I also used a fuse adapter to get a turn on signal from the fuse box.

Also you might have to explain some of this to me, I'm not much of an audio person lol

If the amp doesnt have high level inputs, you can use whats called a line out converter. They accept speaker wire input and convert them into rca outputs to connect an amp to. They generally range in price from 15 dollars to 25ish. Any good reputable shop can guide you in the right direction.
