I'm looking to install a sub in my car and I found that in the trunk space there is a space in the trim to put a sub. Which I'm guessing is where it would go if I had gotten the premium package. Anyway, can anyone let me know if indeed I could install a sub in that little round nook, if so, what kind of sub and will I need to install an amp?

I'm kind of new at this, the only thing I've upgraded is the cold air intake (Airaid) Any advice will help, thanks :)

 

Welcome to the site Gasare! You can fit an 8" shallow mount sub back there and it will need an external amp to power it. You can also put a 10" shallow mount sub, but you'd need to trim the opening to make it fit. Do a search on here and a few threads will show you what many of us have done with subs and amps.
