1. Is a cache cloc'd line output converter and line driver safe to use? I don't want to give my crossover (sony xec-700) too much RCA input voltage and damage it.
I am planning on switching from a double din navigation unit back to the stock unit.

2. Where can I run a single run of RCA's away from any power wires so that I won't get any interference or alternator whine? The stock wiring seems to start from the drivers side for the secondary hookup under the hood, and then crosses over to the passenger side around the rear seats for the battery.
I was thinking of re-routing the wires to stay on the drivers side and routing all RCA's and speaker lines on the passenger side. It seems long enough to do this without adding more wire.

3. What is the biggest box I can fit in the stock location? I plan to get a nice 8" sub (something beefy, like a SA8v2). Also, is it hard to make?
