What doors are you putting them into, the front or rear? If you go in the front you should go with a two way with crossover and tweeter. Replace the tweeter in the pillar. Go with a two way in the rear doors and it will fill in the mid bass better. Amp them both and you should be able to fine tune them to sound good. I run Rockford Fosgate in both my front and rear doors. On second look, maybe I'm running three ways in the fronts. Have to check the box for sure now.

The silver ones are the rear doors and the red ones are in the front.
Here is the tweeter

those tweeters look nice ^^^^^ ..... go with a really good 2 way instead of a 3 way, unless your set on a 3 way...

The red ones are P162S. They are 6.5 2-way, removable twin dome tweeters, 3 different tweeter configurations, 60rms/120peak.
The silver ones are T162C. They are 6.2 2-way, 75rms/150peak.

I have "three-ways" .LOL.

I have 6.5" GTI660's in custom kickpanels, the 4x6" GTI660 tweeter in the pillars, and a GTO804 8" midbass in each stock door location. I have 300watts per channel on the GTI660's and 300watts perchannel on the GTO804s. It gets kinda loud....and always distortion free.
